RADWORLD 01 - VISITOR

Out of sorrow stumbles a hand,
a hand attached to a body,
a body attached to a mind,
a mind attached to a soul,
a soul attached to a memory,
a memory detached from the world.
Walk with me, visitor,
before the sun scorches us whole.

The first in a series of RADWORLD lookbooks, Cas Rodriguez-Miranda (known by most as CASUALRAD) presents twenty pages of original mixed-media work that stems from unnamed and unfamiliar emotions, with this entry being titled VISITOR. Paired with the lookbook is a song that coincides with VISITOR, also made completely by Cas Rodriguez-Miranda. All funds go into supporting Mx. Rodriguez-Miranda's continued experimentation of the arts and general fees that come with being a living, breathing person.

A word from the author:
I made this work almost entirely off my iPad using Procreate to edit and organize all the pieces during a family vacation up in north Florida. At the time, I was going through a lot. Emotional growth, heartbreak, and the further development of lessons I thought I understood. At the end of the day, I became a stronger person, but a sadder one. VISITOR is an accumulation of a lot of feelings. Mostly angry feelings, but also wistful, carefree, hurt, pained, confused, considerate, apathetic, overwhelmed, and bitter ones too. It is a broth made of what I am, right now, and what the person I once was will forever be. I hope you find some joy in this work, and that you'll be here for my next projects, whatever they may bloom into and whenever those will flourish for the public. See you soon, Visitor.
